H&F's Remembrance Sunday Parades, 9th November

This years H&F Remembrance Sunday parades and services, on the 9th November in Fulham and Shepherds Bush, are being held at:

•  Fulham parade and service 

The procession will gather in Parsons Green Lane at 10.20am and march via New Kings Road to the Fulham War Memorial, in Vicarage Garden, next to All Saints' Church. The open air Service at Fulham War Memorial will be the responsibility of the Reverend Joseph Hawes, Vicar of All Saints' Church, Fulham. At the end of the service, the parade will march back to the Territorial Army Centre, and HQ of the Royal Yeomanry at Fulham House, 87 Fulham High Street.

• Shepherds Bush parade and service

The procession will gather in Sulgrave Road (off Shepherds Bush Road) at 10.15am and march to Shepherds Bush Green War Memorial. The open air service at the memorial will be conducted by Father Richard Nesbitt, Parish Priest, Our Lady of Fatima, White City.

At the end of the service, there will be a march past in Shepherds Bush Road at which the Mayor will take the salute and the parade will finish in Westwick Gardens.

New Trial Opening Hours at H&F Housing Offices

Hammersmith and Fulham want to make their services as accessible as they can. From 18th September 2014, they will be offering extended opening hours from the Clem Atlee and White City Offices. They are doing this as a pilot for 3 months and will be asking customers who use the service what they think of this initiative and if they should continue to run this service. The offices will be open at different times on Saturday. This will help us to see when there is most demand.

Free Barclays Cycle Hire, 16th & 17th August

You can try Barclays Cycle Hire for free as part of their birthday weekend. Hire a bikes with your bank card on Saturday 16th or Sunday 17th August, they will cover the 24-hour bike access fee for up to four bikes. This gives you free access to the bikes for 24 hours and includes as many rides as you like, providing each journey is kept under 30 minutes.

Playday at Ravenscourt Park, 6th August

Playday comes to Ravenscourt Park this Wednesday, 6th August, from Noon to 4pm. H&F have teamed up with John Parnham Funfairs to provide a number of free rides, also there will be live music, sports and games, plus a range of information stalls.
