You can try Barclays Cycle Hire for free as part of their birthday weekend. Hire a bikes with your bank card on Saturday 16th or Sunday 17th August, they will cover the 24-hour bike access fee for up to four bikes. This gives you free access to the bikes for 24 hours and includes as many rides as you like, providing each journey is kept under 30 minutes.

Lewis Trust Works Update
Southern Housing have issued an update regarding the works, on the Lewis Trust buildings, next to the Lytton Estate. Hopefully, the noise and dust levels will be kept to a minimum. See below:
H&F Council Election Results May 2014
There was a surprisingly big win for Labour in last nights local election results, they took control of H&F Council, from the Conservatives, with an 11 seat swing. In our Avonmore and Brook Green ward, Hannah Barlow for Labour gained a seat, while the Conservatives, Joe Carlebach and Caroline Ffiske, held onto the remaining two.

Book Your Day Out to Littlehampton
The Lytton Estate Tenants and Residents Association is organising a FREE day trip to the seaside for the Lytton Estate residents and their children.
The day trip this year will be to Littlehampton on Saturday 26th July 2014. All children must be accompanied by an adult or they will not be allowed to go. Assistance to Families and Individuals in Need
You don't have to be a British Gas customer to apply and in addition to clearing energy debt, BGET can also assist by providing grants to clear other priority household debts or purchase essential household items. These payments are called Further Assistance Payments.
